Hello there!
My name is Verilu Infante and I am a AmeriCorps VISTA member volunteering as the Marketing and Donor Relations Specialist for Proyecto Juan Diego. This will be my first Sisters on the Run with Proyecto Juan Diego and I am incredibly excited!
Although I am not an experienced runner, starting October 27 I am challenging myself in completing 26.2 miles, the equivalent of a marathon, each month leading up to Sisters on the Run 2024. This means I am committing myself to running 78.6 miles in total by January 27. Each run I complete throughout these next three months will be dedicated to this fundraising effort and to raising awareness for the incredible things done for the community at Proyecto Juan Diego by its team of loving staff members and volunteers.
The work done at Proyecto means a lot to me, so I kindly ask you to please donate and join me in supporting real change! Help us change the health and wellness trajectory for low-income families, provide an educational environment for children, adults and the elderly, and support and guide people through the immigration process.
